As the basic raw material and important solvent of many kinds of organic products, the methyl alcohol is mainly applied to such fields as organic synthesis, dyestuffs, pharmaceutical, coating and national defense industry ,etc. It is mainly used for producing formaldehyde, sodium formate, dimethyl ether methylamine, dimethyl aniline, methyl formate, dimethyl sulfate, acetic acid, methyl tertiary butyl acid, etc.
